About the ecms Foundation

The ecancermedicalscience (ecms) Foundation was established by the late Professor Umberto Veronesi and Professor Gordon McVie as an independent, not-for-profit organisation with charitable status to fund the speedy dissemination of cancer information.

To help achieve this goal, the ecms Foundation launched ecancer.org in September 2007. ecancer.org is a leading resource for the cancer community committed to improving patient care and outcomes by sharing high-quality, user friendly cancer information on a global scale.  By using the latest technologies, ecancer works closely with leading oncologists and healthcare professionals to inform and educate the cancer community.
